Here is the second question.
You and I both see eye to eye when it comes to the horror that is The Uggs. However, living in the Boston area, and having just suffered through a major blizzard, I wondered...what's a stylish girl to do about winter boots? I have dressy leather boots for going out in the winter, but those are not appropriate for the shoveling...
Is it just a situation where I have to wear the ugly, but warm and dry "boots of the duck" whilst I shovel away, and just change out of them as soon as I can? Or are there anymore stylish options out there that I am missing? Hiking boots don't really work in 3 feet of snow...
My question for you is this: I know that the Ugg boots are not super fantastic, yet, they are shoes of such warmth for me in my cold Canadian climate. On a cold day, putting my feet into a pair of Uggs makes me feel super fantastic, yet, I know that I look ridiculous, as I am not a 12 year old Asian girl (who, as you have said, are the only people by whom the Uggs should be worn). Do you have any suggestions for a pair of super fantastic, and yet also very warm, boots for my cold feets?Manolo says, first the Manolo he would answer this question by saying that if the first friend of the Manolo she is shovelling the snows, then the fashion of the boot, it is not of the primary importance. The comfort in the cold and the proof against the water, they are indeed the primary concerns.
However, if the purpose of the shoe is to merely walk in the cold and the snow, rather than shovel, than the Manolo he would recommend one of these boots to you.
Manolo says, this boot it is from the Ugg! But it does not make the Manolo roll his eyes in the disgust. Yes, it is somewhat masculine in the form, but the shape and the color it pleases the Manolo.
Like the Ugg boot, this boot from the Rockport(!) it is lined with the shearling and it is smart.
Finally, here is the tall boot with the shearling and the leather straps from the Born. Yes, the straps they look too complex, but to the Manolo, the effect of going behind the calfs it is amusing.
Manolo says, one of the things the Manolo he asks of the winter boots is the practicality, that they are functional before they are stylish. The feets they must be kept warm, and the tread it must prevent the falling on the ice.
However, at the same of the time, these boots they are more than just functional. They have as much of the style as can be expected in the boots of the harsh season.
