Just like Wang's

Those who know me or read my blog must have noticed that Alexander Wang is one of my favorite designers. This season I was dreaming of his constance platform booties until I stepped in Zara and I saw these in almost one fifth of the price of the Wang's.
So I won't say more, just hurry up guys, they are still on shelves.

Acropolis Museum

Today I felt like a tourist in my own country.
Me and my boyfriend decided to have coffee at the Cafe of the New Acropolis Museum.
I've been there again but today it was such a sunny day so the terrace of the cafe,
with the incredible view to the Parthenon, was just the best place to be.
Days like these I feel fortunate for living in Greece but concerned about the future of my country.

Atmospheric Phenomena

When we woke up today we got a taste of the Sahara Desert.
An enormous dust cloud had covered Athens and we couldn't see anything but a wall of sand.
On the way to the coffee shop we took some pictures.

Spring Platforms

I know, I know what you're thinking... Spring???? Spring???? But I can't help myself. I was looking through the collection details on Style.com and platforms and wedges were on just about every runway in Milan. Here are a few pair from Dolce & Gabbana that caught my eye. They are a sort of combination of platform and wedge wouldn't you say? I can't wait to see how these will be re-invented for their "everyday" collection. Seriously gorgeous, no?

I love the combination of shiny gold and smooth black satin. The thin leather strap from heel to vamp is so, so sexy. Yum!

There would be some serious fisticuffs in Oz if the Wicked Witch was wearing these when Dorothy dropped in. Maneuvering the yellow brick road may have been a little trickier though.

A gray croco embossed leather platform with details to die for.

These shoes have major sex appeal. Do you have your come hither look ready?

Ugh! I want. I am so digging the silver and gold leaf details on these.

Wood-Heeled Boots

Besides suede colored pumps the editors at Lucky are loving wood-heeled boots. See below for a few of my favorite finds.

If you click on the link for the above boot you'll notice that they have it in gray. Oh my goodness, I think I found my boot. It has everything I want. It's perfect, no?

Dolce & Gabbana Leather Oxford Bootie

Gorgeous! The sumptuous cognac leather & oxford details in THE shape of the season, there isn't much not to love about this bootie. Preppy meets flirty with the lace up details and the contrasting stacked heel. Oh and let's not forget one of my favorite details D&G is including in their shoes this season. I love the leopard print lining. Looking at that little detail while slipping these on would make me feel fierce and feisty!

On a side note - these just got the husband's stamp of approval! Sweet!

Gray's Anatomy

I gotta tell ya, there isn't a whole lot not to love about these gray beauties by Dolce & Gabbana. If you'd like to take a closer look you'll find them here. The details are dead on. I love the folded strap encased in the bronze buckle over the toe. The stacked heel that's not too high or too low and the leopard print on the in step(I'm sure it's all around). They're pretty darn near perfect as far as I'm concerned. I know they would put a smile on my face every time I slipped into them.
