Off to the Office...

First of all- I must thank poladroid cause I freaking love these polaroid looking pics! Woo hoo.

So I woke up this morning feeling extra sassy. I love this new top I got off Revolve by Hellz, which I stumbled upon on accident. Also, my new JBrands with zippers! Sass-ayyy.

I guess I've been feeling like I need to spread the love around lately. These shoes got a lot of press for being supposedly uncomfortable and impossible to walk in. They are neither. For whatever reason, they're really not that weird feeling when walking. Plus, I love the confused looks of people watching them walk by. ;)

I'm also really feeling this hot pink lipstick I got from Nars. I feel like an 80's barbie. Kiss kiss! My Fafi girl back there is totally trying to upstage me. Pshh.

I did a bunch of colors, and red is the only one without contrast piping- but it's the only picture I had. O well. Now I'm sounding like an insecure 3rd grader defending her art project.

Welcome Back Spring! I Missed You!

Ah, glorious Southern California sun, how I love you.

Today is so beautiful I had to wear something to celebrate! ;)

I picked up this little jumper whatever you call it thingy at- you guessed it- Forever 21. It's becoming my favorite place to shop, especially with our household budget squeeze. 

"Budget" is absolutely my LEAST favorite word. Yuck.

I'm thinking of doing a little mini DIY and switching out the buttons for something cuter. Like maybe some bubbly red heart buttons or some nautical looking buttons or something. 

Anyway. Here's my outfit for today. I wore these new Dolce Vita sandals for the first time. They're super comfy and a little sassy. Though I am now in my new black bikini and will be laying out until the sun goes down. You don't get to see that though. Ben would get super jealz.

I love this Marc Jacobs hair bauble. It reminds me of being young and it such a cute little accent without being too obnoxious.

Pour la Victorie... No no. This shoe is way too Marc Jacobs, and I don't even think the Marc Jacobs ones did well at retail. I mean, sure I bought them, but I'm a total fashion victim and I don't count. Plus, I've only worn them twice.

FURTHERMORE... if you're going to copy a shoe, at least make it cheap. Yes, at $225 it's cheaper than the original, but not by enough. I mean if you're going to spend $225 you might as well spend whatever the original was. Or at least that's how my sick mind rationalizes it. haha.

Ok, so I hate these boots. I hate everything about them. I hate the outdated shape, the tacky gold color, the height, the elastic goring on the side... oh, and the heel. EVERYTHING.

Worst part? It's by Marc Jacobs. 

You guys, seriously? WTF? I feel like I'm in a time warp to 1996.

Oh Marc. I love you so much, but these? These are terrible. Maybe you need to get back on drugs? Is that it? Did rehab suck out your creativity out??

Ok so ya, this is old news but since I have yet to address it... it's still news on this here blog. What is up with Marc Jacobs and his effed up ads. Does this make you want to buy his product? Cause I personally love the MJ, but his ads... not so much. He might as well not put any ads out, right? 

It's not even like his ads are avant garde or controversial. They're just riding along on the fug train. I dunno, what do you guys think??

The first blog

... and I'm still not sure where to go with this. I have so much to say about shoes. Shoes are all I think about all day long. I'm going to have to sit with this and figure out how I want to do this. I'd hate to sit here and type about a mish mash of crap that just confuses people. (like maybe how I'm doing right now...?)

ANYWAY, what I have now is my shoe of the week. This week it is the much discussed shoe by Marc Jacobs. If you google "marc jacobs weird shoe" this shoe comes up. I however, think it's pretty cool. This is the runway version in the picture... I bought the all over black patent leather one without that weird loopy thing on it, and I (unlike my husband) think its super cool and sexy!
