I've Got Wood...

If you follow my Twitter or new Tumblr, you already know I'm wearing my new Jeffery Campbell wedges. I love them. So cute and girly with a big chunky wedge to make them extra amazing!

Wood bottoms are HUGE for Spring so make sure you grab a pair, whether its a high wooden wedge or a chunky wooden heel, there are so many to choose from. Here are some of my favorites....

 Giuseppe Zanotti
 D&G
 Casadei
 Givenchy
 YSL

Chl oe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony

Lady B

Gala Darling's recent post on Beyonce got me interested in checking out her videos.
Her newest (I think) video for her song featuring Lady Gaga, "Video Phone" is amaaaaaazing! You guys have to check it out. She looks stunning and rocks a ton of crazy sexy looks and equally sexy shoes!

These Giuseppe Zanotti boots are supah fierce! (Check out Luxirare rocking them here)

This Bettie Page look is probably my favorite. She looks so beautiful!
Hot hot hot...
Alongside my BFF, Lady Gaga. I still love the red Valentino shoes B is wearing but I NEED the yellow Louboutins my girl Gaga is wearing. Amazing.

I officially love Beyonce. She is so kind and humble- check out Gala's post and you'll see what I mean.

And watch this!!

Tricks and Treats

Ahhhh Halloween. My second favorite holiday (my first being Thanksgiving where I'm guiltlessly gluttonous)
I love dressing up and getting to be someone else for a night. Our friend has the best Halloween parties every year where our friends go all out and dress in amazing costumes. It's truly impressive and there's hardly a store-bought costume in sight. This year was no exception.

My two costumes this year were polar opposites. The first, my personal favorite, being a nerdy self conscious drummer from Aurora... better known as Garth Algar.

Benjamin was of course, the Wayne to my Garth

Yoda, our gracious host
Jesus himself... "We're not worthy! We're not worthy!"
Red Queen

And the White Rabbit
Matt and Christie Walker as a hot dog and hot dog vender. So cute :)

Betsey in Betsey and Balmain... OH MY!

Betsey Johnson killing it at the CFDA awards in Balmain heels.

The meeting in NY went really well!! I have one day to rest and then it's off to China to make shoes. I promise a real post before I go but I just wanted to remind you how CUTE Betsey is and how very lucky I am to be working with her as her shoe designer!!!!

And a special apology to my dear darling miss Wendy B 'cause I told her I wouldn't mention the CFDAs and she even thanked me for it. Go check out her amazing jewelry and buy yourself something nice! ;)

The Polls Are Back!

Just an FYI- see over there ---------------------->

I'm bringing back the weekly polls in response to reader requests :)
Don't forget to vote!

This week the shoe is a Giuseppe Zanotti shoe that Betsey Johnson is in love with. In our last meeting she mentioned it about 25x! I know she loves it but what do YOU think?

Queen of LA

I went to LA yesterday with my friend Caroline and we had no idea what we were in for. I thought I was just going to get some hot shoes, but I was wrong. Well, no- I did get some hot shoes- but that wasn't the best part.

Best part? BETTER than these amazing Charlotte Olympia pumps?

Well, hopefully you watched Ru Paul's Drag Race on Logo. If so, I'm sure you know who SHOULD have won. Yes, the amazing- the beautiful Ongina. Oh how I love her. And as luck had it- she happened to be at Diavolina at the same time as me.
I totally had a star struck moment and gushed a little about how amazing I thought she was... and she was totally sweet! She told us that she was performing at a drag show that night at Mickey's on Santa Monica Blvd. I mean, HELLO!!! I was not about to miss that!

So my quick trip to LA turned into a fun filled day of shopping, killing time, watching a movie, and eating all 3 meals out until finally- 10pm came and we were off to the bar.

Ongina greeted us with big hugs and promises of a good show- and let me tell you, she didn't disappoint.
Bitch makes me look hideous. Totally not fair.

I mean seriously? She's so beautiful!! And the shoes?!?!?! No wonder I love her.
She was bangin it out in some serious heels. I don't know who the first are by, but I'm sure you all recognize the second pair (Giuseppe Zanotti) and the third (Stella McCartney)
You go girl.

Anyway, so that was my day in LA. It was definitely one for the books! I also got a pair of beautiful boots... but I'll save those for later.

Night on the Town...

Me and my tranny hooker shoes went to LA last night for my friend Sascha's birthday bash. We went to Geisha House for some overpriced sushi and cocktails and then headed to her promoter friend's house for a little pre party action- including Arizona's beat box champion showing us his "mad skills" ( If I were talking to you in person those would be air quotes. Ya, I'm not afraid to use air quotes people. I'm bringing them back like J-Timb and sexy.)

Anyway- then it was off to Kress, which much to our shagrin, was hosting an Affliction party. Barf. If you don't know what that means, consider yourself below the douche bag radar. Don't bother Googling it.

So yea- this post is chock full of pics with lots of fun details. Check it out-

Banksy really wanted to be in the picture.

Would you believe I spent like 5 hours carefully ripping this shirt? I blame Carbon Couture for giving me the idea! (though hers is waaaaay radder)

He seriously wouldn't get out of the frame. He's so cute!
So these are my tranny hooker shoes. I love them and Jak and Jil blog inspired me to bust them out again. It's rare to have an occasion to wear them and not look insane.

You bad boy! Haha.

(shoes- Giuseppe Zanotti, leggings- American Apparel, shirt and coat- Forever 21, scarf- Alexander McQueen, bangles- Burberry and forever 21)

Just wanted to add this pic cause it shws my shoes a little better. haha

An Easier Way to Wear it...

So you may remember those crazy silver metallic Giuseppe Zanotti wedges with the red lacquered bottom and yellow heel piece I bought last season? Well, it looks like the designer has made an easier to wear version. Same sexy silhouette, easier to wear colors. Plus, since they're satin, they're a bit cheaper. Bonus!

You can find them here for $695

weird...

So I remember these sandals from a few years ago, so I guess Giuseppe Zanotti loves them so much he made them again. I didn't like them then and I don't like them now. I mean, who wants to wear a dead fish on their feet? And for $795 none the less. I'm not a big fan of shiny rhinestone shoes. It's all too Stuart Weitzman for my liking. Blah.
I dunno, am I missing something here?? Does anyone like this?

On a side note, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BENJAMIN! You are the best husband that ever husbanded. ;) I'm so lucky.
